TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PACKAGE RESERVATIONS
All travelers must carry a valid passport from their county of citizenship. It is the responsibility of the traveler to obtain all necessary passports, visas and tourist cards required for travel. Cancellation fees will apply for any cancellations due to incorrect documentation.
Trip cancellation and/or interruption, baggage, and medical/accident insurance are highly recommended. The hotel will not be held responsible for any damage to luggage before, during or after the program.
PAYMENTS AND FEES:
A deposit of $350.00 per person (of which $250.00 is non-refundable) is required at the time of booking in addition to any subsequent deposits or pre-payments required by suppliers to secure land arrangements. The payment of the required deposit or any partial or full payment for a reservation shall constitute consent to the provisions of the Terms and Conditions of Hotel Bougainvillea.
Final payment is due 15 days prior to arrival. If not received the reservation will be canceled and the deposit forfeited.
FORM OF PAYMENT:
Credit Card (Visa, Master Card, American Express) for deposit and for the balance.
Changes made within 30 days of arrival are subject to additional fees. Date changes will only be accepted 30 days prior to arrival or cancellation fees will apply.
Certain suppliers who furnish transportation and/or other services require non-refundable deposits to reserve bookings. This is especially true during the high season. Should a non-refundable deposit be required to reserve the booking, the client agrees to pay the fee promptly as requested or the booking shall be released. Hotel Bougainvillea shall not be liable for any failure on the client’s part to pay a deposit in a timely manner, nor have any obligation to the client to return a non-refundable deposit in the event of cancellation of the client’s trip.
All refund requests must be received in writing by the Hotel Bougainvillea and the following fees apply in addition to any supplier charges for cancellation:
Upon receipt of deposit ................................. $250.00
Per person 45-0 days prior to departure ...... 25% of trip price
Any changes or cancellations made after arrival will be at the client’s expense.
Hotel Bougainvillea (Las Cinco Ruedas S.A.) acts solely as agent for the suppliers who have provided transportation, hotels, vehicles, equipment or other services arranged for clients. The suppliers are independent contractors and are not related entities to the Hotel Bougainvillea. The hotel is not responsible for the willful or negligent acts and/or omissions of such suppliers or any carrier or their respective employees, agents or representatives. All vouchers, receipts and tickets are issued subject to the terms and conditions specified by the suppliers and/or carriers. By utilizing the travel services of the suppliers, the client agrees that neither the hotel nor any of its representatives or employees shall be liable for any loss to the client or those traveling with him/her. Nor shall Hotel Bougainvillea be liable for any event beyond its control. Hotel Bougainvillea cannot be responsible for losses or additional expenses due to delay or changes in air schedules or other causes.
